HOW MUCH DO SCUBA LESSONS COST?

 

    When we compare with other popular  sports and outdoor activities, learning to scuba dive isn’t expensive. For example,it is the same as;

  • a full day of surfing lessons.

  • a weekend of rock climbing lessons.

  • about three hours of private water skiing lessons.

  • one amazing night out at the pub!

WHAT GEAR WILL I NEED TO SCUBA DIVE?

 

   Choosing and using your scuba equipment is part of the fun of diving. Your local instructor will help you find the right equipment. Each equipment has a different function.

When you start learning to scuba dive, you'll want your own:

  • Mask

  • Snorkel

  • Fins

 
 
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR LEARNING TO SCUBA DIVE?
  • The minimum age is 10 years old.

  • When they are 15 they may get certificates.

  • Children under the age of 13 need a parent permission to register.

  • All student divers complete scuba medical questionnaire to learn about the health issues of them.In some cases, doctor permit is required.

  • Each diver must have a personal set of the learning materials to use during the course.

 
DO I HAVE TO BE A GOOD SWIMMER TO SCUBA DIVE?

 

   Some swimming ability is required. You need to have basic swim skills and you should control yourself and keep calm underwater.You should swim 200 metres or 300 metres in mask, fins and snorkel. There is no time limit for this, and you may use any swimming equipment which you want

 
WHERE CAN I SCUBA DIVE?

   

   You can dive anywhere there’s water – a swimming pool, the ocean and all points in between, including  lakes, rivers, springs or even aquariums.

 

WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON INJURIES OR SICKNESSES RELATED TO DIVING?

   

 Sunburn, seasickness and dehydration are the most common problems divers face but these can be prevented. Suitable suits and disciplined dives may prevent all those.

 

WHAT ABOUT SHARKS?

   

If you’re lucky, you can see a shark. Although there are some incidents with sharks, they are very rare and most of the time, if you see a shark it’s just passing through silently.Just enjoy watching!
